How to Connect to a Router through IP Address 192.168.1.1?

First, you shluld make sure that whether the default IP of your router is 192.168.1.1, so Find the "Start" -> "Run", type cmd, and click "OK" to open a DOS command screen. Type “ipconfig” in the command prompt and hit "Enter". Now you can find your router's dedault IP Address. See the picture below, the IP address of Default gateway is your router's default IP address. It displays 192.168.1.1, so your router's default IP address is 192.168.1.1.



Then, Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of the browser and Enter the username and password, generally the default username and password is admin.



If you login the router successfully, you'll see this interface (linksys):

At this point, you successfully connected to 192.168.1.1.
