How to Connect to a Router through IP Address 192.168.1.1?

First, you shluld make sure that whether the default IP of your router is 192.168.1.1, so Find the "Start" -> "Run", type cmd, and click "OK" to open a DOS command screen. Type “ipconfig” in the command prompt and hit "Enter". Now you can find your router's dedault IP Address. See the picture below, the IP address of Default gateway is your router's default IP address. It displays 192.168.1.1, so your router's default IP address is 192.168.1.1.



Then, Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of the browser and Enter the username and password, generally the default username and password is admin.



If you login the router successfully, you'll see this interface (linksys):

At this point, you successfully connected to 192.168.1.1.

  1. 192.168.0.1.1 login / Admin. To understand how relaxed it is to access the Configuration authority panels just do the following. Open up your preferred web browser such as IE, Google Chrome, Opera and Mozilla Firefox, etc. and type the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your PC or laptop placed on the top. It will add this as a default address.
    Set your admin password with http://192.168.l.l
    If you are looking for the solution to get modem IP address, you will get authentication easily. By typing this address 192.168.0.1. In the address bar, you will get the easy solution to access your modem. Some individual set their modem by 192.168.0.1.1, but this is not the right IP address. You should know the tactics of using a modem.

  2. 192.168.0.1 is the IP address of a range of D-Link and Netgear routers , similar to 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 . This router's gateway is its own IPv4 address, which can be used by the main router to configure the default gateway. On a network, only one device must use 192.168.0.1 to avoid IP address conflicts.
